RE: Warrior's assets siezed

Had an '04 FK1900 and LOVED it, hell I think I should have kept it!! It never gave me a problem... WW is hit and miss, but like any other trailer, if it checks out fine it should be good!!!

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

No.. Have you looked on Craigslist? I have seen many a trailer going for much better prices out here (L.A. area). If it must be from a dealer, then you will have to pay their price. but to me 17.9 is what you should be shooting for on a new 08/09... Hell I would sell you my 06 FS2300 for that price..

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

No, but 17.9 is WAY to much...

RE: Any haulers visit Glacier NP lately?

Extra big fires = priceless! Dave: Excuse me Ma'am do you sell Sobe her? KOA: Yes we do Dave: Do you sell gasoline? KOA: Sorry, down the street 3 blocks Dave: Oh that's ok I have a fuel station Moments later... KOA: Excuse me Sir, what does Sobe and Gasoline have to do with each other? Dave: Grinning Large Explosion, KOA lady looses eyebrows, yellow shirt is now light singed brown, plume of flame and smoke fill the sky over Dave's campsite. http://www.sandtastictoys.com/SobeBomb1.JPG Dave: S-O-B-E - Its how we spell Campfire in California! :B:B:B:B They sell SoBe up there in WA too, don't they? I know you couldn't do SoBes in Oregon, because you'd have to pay a minimum wage kid to fill the bottle for you. Ha-Ha....:B

RE: Any haulers visit Glacier NP lately?

Don't forget the extra charges for the large Campfires Dave seems to make Everywhere he goes... One of my favorite moments from our last trip to Zion was when the kid in the pool yelled out, "Hey Mister, you gonna have one of those big fires again tonight?" Yeah, I wonderful story I can't forget... I just don't want a redneck You Tube, "Hey Watch This" Video..

RE: What's Giant going to sell now?

Ice to Eskimo's!!! Giant sales tatics make Smellsman of the Fifties Cringe! Agree... I made their life miserably when we took delivery they kick me off the lot... I guess because I refused delivery 3 times. I must say I have had no issues with the trailer, except for the dreaded fuel station gears. Hey Darryl ... Where did you get those gears from again? I got them from Warrior, but from what I hear you can get them from the pump manufacture. Warrior Gear also sells them, but...

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

I heard about WW….ALSO, there are others in the RV business that have filed BK in the last 3 weeks. But…I have not had any problem with service. I contacted Beaudry RV (only because they are a WW dealer in Tucson) and got my stuff scheduled right away. I also have a Class A Motorhome…. I am more worried about that warranty info that than a toyhauler, myself! The toyhauler has warranty from Onan = Generator, not WW. It also has a different warranty on the refridge, microwave…etc. There is no “engine” to have issues with…We have had toyhaulers for years and have never really had any warranty issues. We have had Thor, WW, and GearBox. Come on guys! Your really killin' me here.. I really had to laugh about the mortgage input!!! I am in that business and it just gets really out of hand with people sometimes! They blurt out so much garbage without educating themselves. I wish they would just get the “real” info about the sub-prime meltdown….It cracks me up that they think that was the “BANKS” and not the “wall street investors”…..LIKE ME & YOU that did that! Who do they think were buying up those security’s???? Mortgage backed securities are publically traded and paid well….so US citizens made it happen...if they didn't buy them, there would not have been those mortgages! Do you understand that when the stock market flattened, that many investors moved there money into mortgage backed securities? What are all of you investing in on wall street and your 401k's etc. I know you meant well, but just be educated….Dont believe what you hear in the media..(Do any of you understand where the "value" of our dollar comes into play here?) You can do re-search on other RV manufacturer’s that have gone BK and see what happened to their service and warranty dept’s. Or just call the factory yourself…they may not have an answer for you, as they may not really know yet. The last people they will tell are the dealers! That’s just how it works! I would never advise someone to spend 40-51 k as the one gentlemen wrote…..but anything you touch in this market has the real risk of BK…. They say that the only ones that will be left standing will be Coachmen, Fleetwood, and those of “that” caliber. Have any of you thought that one of them may pick up WW in some sort of BK buyout or bailout. Heck….WW outsold most of the ones that they were making! It would be silly for them not to…..then they would have the monopoly’s. Anyone else would have to come up with something pretty spectacular to beat them if they owned them all…. Good Luck…and just don’t pay retail. Then you can afford to replace a microwave if you have to! Wow - Where do you even start with reasoning like that. Following that line of reasoning: I bought a tank of gas this morning. That makes me a terrorist. :S I've been meaning to talk to you about that Dave! So if I read that right the Sub Prime Melt Down is my Fault! People who lived Heloc Rich and bought more house than they could afford spurred on by pushy Morgage Brokers had nothing to do with it...

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

Do keep in mind that Mark created much of what we now know as the Toy Hauler industry. He is, without a doubt and icon in the industry. I don't know enough of the facts to judge him, but I know enough to respect what he's done for the market today. Mark lived the lifestyle as well as ran a company, how many CEO's of RV companies went out and played with the same people that buy their product? I have a lot of respect for what he was able to accomplish. He created some amazing products and was the keystone of an industry that has become a way of life for so many of us. However, in spite of his good intentions, he lost touch with his employees and his customers. I believe that he did everything he could to do right by both (employees & customers), but the organization he built wasn't strong enough to pull it off. I personally dealt with him many times. I contacted him on behalf of many members here who were having WW service issues. In every case, he either took care of their problems or quickly told them to pound sand (if they were out of line). That seemed pretty fair to me. I wasn't as lucky when it came to my own trailer. They say that reasonable people can disagree. I gave him a bill for everything that it cost me to fix the cr@p that his people broke. He reimbursed me for most of it, but told me to take a hike for the rest of it. (We were within a couple hundred bucks though). To me, that experience epitomized the problem with his company: He had some horribly unskilled employees working for him who managed to break everything they touched. He personally couldn't put himself in his customers' shoes to see how much frustration and expense he was putting his loyal fans through. In the end, his loyal customers couldn't afford to continue to support him or his company. You can't piss off that many customers year after year and expect to stay in business. I hope that Mark is able to learn from the events of the past few years and return to the market in a valuable way (if that's what he wants). I wish him all the best, but I'm also not sorry to see that his company isn't continuing to take good people's dollars in return for poor quality products that require so much extra time, effort, and expense to prop up. Amen Brother.. Don't make it a habit on the Crow, it doesn't taste all that good... I've way to many servings of it..
